Overview
Wrotham Road Primary School is looking for a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join their excellent team.
This position is for 28.75 hours per week, 8.45am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour unpaid break per day, for 38 weeks per year. The salary of £24,513 full‑time equivalent, actual prorated salary £15,614.98.
Qualifications and Experience- Experience of working with children in an educational setting.
- Good English and mathematical skills.
- Relevant qualifications NVQ 2 and 3 in childcare and learning (level 2 may be acceptable if a willingness to work toward NVQ3 can be demonstrated).
- Flexibility and use of initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work alongside as part of a team.
- Patience and understanding of the ways different children learn.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
