About the Role:The successful candidate will possess exceptional pedagogy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for working with children and young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). While experience with SEND is beneficial, we prioritise candidates with a strong foundation in the EYFS and Primary curriculum knowledge, coupled with a willingness to embrace learning more about SEND and associated therapies.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with profound, severe, and complex learning needs.
- Collaborate with our dedicated team to create stimulating learning opportunities.
- Demonstrate initiative and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in teaching the EYFS and Primary Curriculum.
- Knowledge of SEND, particularly in areas such as PMLD, SLD, or ASD is advantageous.
- A willingness to embrace further learning about SEND and associated therapies.
- A fulfilling, rewarding, and caring environment with strong leadership support.

- Focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing, including access to key services such as a free counselling support line.
- Comprehensive Induction and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme in line with school plan priorities and pupil centred needs.
- Support from in-house therapy teams including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and the Special Schools’ Nursing Service.
- Collaborative planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time with colleagues.
- Phased mentor support dependent on experience.
