The Registered Nurse Pre Op/Post Op/Sedation is an RN who provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre‑op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient‑family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre‑op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre‑op/PACU/Sedation reports to the Manager of Peri‑Operative Services.
This position requires 3 – 8 hours per day, 24 hours per week during Monday‑Friday daytime hours.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday work schedule. No call required. No nights, no weekends, no holiday work hours. Free parking. Pay range is $45 – $50/hour, depending on experience.

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current CA Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS accredited by AHA
- 2+ years experience in Pre-Op/PACU; prior experience in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients
