Pro Shop Maintenance Worker- PT

Assists in tracking pace of play, maintaining order on the golf course, and providing excellent customer service.

• Must have excellent customer service and skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work for long hours and stand for extended periods of time (minimum of four hours at a time).
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be physically able to work outside and must tolerate cold weather in the winter and extreme heat in the summer.

• Minimum age 16.
• Prefer knowledge of the game of golf, rules, and etiquette.
• Some reading, writing and simple math skills are needed as well as the physical coordination to operate equipment.
• Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check. Must have a valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.
• Must pass a pre-employment basic physical, drug screen, and functional assessment screening (Level
  1).

Safety equipment such as gloves, goggles, hard hats, safety vests, steel-toe boots, back support belts, and seat belts are provided and must be worn as required by department procedures and good safety practices.
