The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business for Micro Shield’s weekly restroom cleaning and sanitation programs.
This is a full cycle outside sales role focused on prospecting, presenting, and closing 1 and 2 year service agreements with commercial businesses.
The position begins as an individual contributor role with the opportunity to grow into a Sales Lead position based on performance.
Responsibilities New Business Development- Prospect commercial businesses through in person cold visits and scheduled appointments
- Identify decision makers and present Micro Shield service programs
- Close new 1 and 2 year service agreements
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Follow company pricing guidelines and discount authority
- Submit accurate and complete contracts
- Coordinate install timelines with operations
- Ensure sold accounts are installed within required deadlines Pipeline and Activity Management
- Maintain consistent daily prospecting activity
- Track leads, follow ups, and contracts in CRM
- Provide weekly production and activity reporting
- Maintain consistent monthly contract production
- Maintain low early cancellation rate on sold accounts
- Demonstrate professionalism and accountability
Top performers may advance into a Sales Lead role responsible for mentoring new representatives and supporting territory growth.
