Are you someone with a passion for outdoor adventures and making a positive impact in your community? Look no further! We're on the lookout for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our Lake Parks family as an Outdoor Camp Manager. As the Outdoor Camp Manager, you will be part of the team that turns every camp day into an adventure-filled memory!
You will be overseeing daily operations, guiding camp counselors, and ensuring the safety and happiness of our campers.

- Minimum age 18. High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two summer seasons as a Recreation Coordinator Assistant I or II (RCA I or II), Lake Parks Assistant I or II (LPA I or II) or Instructor required.
- Prefer applicant pursuing a Bachelor's degree in parks, recreation, leisure, human development or related field.
- Effectively communicate with parents, address questions, and handle behavioral incidents during camp, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere.
- Ability to lead, coordinate youth, staff, and volunteers, turning each camp day into a memorable adventure.
- Must have or obtain American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR, First Aid and AED certification before the first week of camp or before being placed on the work schedule.
- All certification trainings are offered through the City of Grapevine
- Must be able to work various times and be available nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check and have a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
