Get ready for an exciting summer where you'll assist in planning, organizing, and leading various recreational programs, camps, and activities. As a Lake Parks Assistant II you will bring the fun to life by implementing the daily operations of seasonal day camps and give direction to staff to accomplish daily camp activities.
You will have the opportunity to be the mastermind behind recreational programs and activities for school-age children this summer!

Qualifications- Must have High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years old
- Ability to have a blast outdoors, even in high heat and humidity.
- Physical ability to set up tables, chairs, and equipment needed for camps.
- Leadership skills to coordinate staff and school-age children.
- Flexibility to work various times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfort with Windows-based computer systems (show us your tech-savvy side!).
- Must have or obtain American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR, First Aid and AED certification before the first week of being placed on the work schedule.
** All certification trainings are offered through the City of Grapevine** - Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check. Positions with assignments that require handling money will be required to pass a credit check.
