Registered Nurse (RN) – Join Our Team at Varco Home Health
Varco Home Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team serving Grapevine Texas and other surrounding cities in the North Fort Worth Area. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, offering the flexibility to work your own hours—ideal for clinicians looking for work-life balance or supplemental income. As a member of our home health team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care directly in the home.
We are looking for a dependable RN who is committed to excellent clinical outcomes and dedicated to meeting each patient’s unique needs.
- Patient Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs in their home setting. - Develop and Implement Nursing Care Plans:
Create individualized care plans based on clinical findings, physician orders, and patient goals. - Skilled Nursing Interventions:
Provide wound care, medication administration, chronic disease management, catheter care, and other skilled nursing services per physician orders and best practices. - Patient and Caregiver
Education:
Teach patients and caregivers how to manage conditions safely at home, including medication management, symptom monitoring, and health maintenance strategies. - Monitor and Document Progress:
Track patient progress and revise care plans as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes. Complete all documentation accurately and timely. - Provide Compassionate, High-Quality Care:
Support patients with empathy, respect, and professionalism, promoting independence and improved quality of life.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (TX)
- Previous experience in home health or acute care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt care to individual patient needs
- Knowledge of current evidence-based nursing practices
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patients’ homes
- Valid Driver's License
- Kinnser/Wellsky EMR experience preferred
