This position is responsible for supporting the Marketing Department and Sales Team. This includes responsibility for completing, coordinating, and preparing proposals, maintaining promotional materials, coordinating, and preparing for conferences, and assisting in the development of new marketing materials.
This position is based in Grapevine, Texas; the candidate will be expected to be in-office full-time for a minimum of 90 days with potential for hybrid arrangement following that time. This position will not be fully remote.
This position may have access to sensitive information such as PII and/or PHI. As such, all Academic Health Plans employees sign and adhere to AHP’s Information Security Handbook covering information security policies and procedures.
Your Impact- Completion, coordination, and production of informal proposals, responses to complex RFPs, and sales presentations for student health, intercollegiate sports, ancillary and health & wellness products
- Keep proposal response library up to date in the RFP management system
- Develop and maintain sales and marketing collateral, including content development, copywriting, and minor updates in InDesign and Canva as needed
- Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, account analysis, new product information, benchmarking, competitor research, and miscellaneous projects, as needed, including maintaining and updating the department’s Customer Relationship Management System
- Support in implementation of sales & marketing campaigns to promote various products and services with a focus on email blasts using online marketing tools
- Coordinate and deliver upon all facets of conference exhibits, conference collateral, sponsor ships, and client events
- Support with PR and brand initiatives
- Support on website management and other digital marketing initiatives
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive qualified traffic
- Handle client and/or company print requests in Grapevine office
- 6+ years of proposal experience
- Background in insurance (a plus)
- Strong verbal/written communication skills, and project/time management skills
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience using Salesforce, RFP management, SEO, email marketing, and Adobe Suite preferred
- Experience using Word Press and Canva preferred
