Summary

The Computer Technician will be responsible for providing computer diagnostics and repairs.

Daily responsibilities constitute 90% of the role:

• Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts.
• Resolve hardware technical issues within schedule and provide break‑and‑fix solutions using in‑house systems.
• Set up computer systems and hardware, and install or reinstall software programs for users.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse efficiencies represent 5% of the role:

• Build and maintain a positive work environment with open feedback and two‑way communication.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean at all times.

Team building/leadership represent 5% of the role:

• Maintain a positive work environment supporting company culture.
• Foster a healthy and safe workspace focusing on well‑being of all associates.

• Working toward completing A+ certification or still attending tech school.
• 1–2 years of repair experience in a low‑production PC environment.
• Experience with 1–2 OEMs and knowledge of component replacement such as LCD/HDD for multiple commodities.
• Working knowledge of major computer/electronics manufacturers.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated skill set while working with a staffing agency (if applicable).

• Read and follow written instructions.
• Use of hands, wrists, and fingers for keyboard and small handheld tools.

• Meet daily KPI/H metrics; minimum KPI 1.20–1.49 within 90 days.

Requires sitting for long periods, close, peripheral and depth vision, ability to adjust focus. Must tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse; conditions vary by season. May need to walk, lift up to 50 lbs, reach over shoulder height, bend or stoop. Requires repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements.
