Fuel Supply Manager

Responsible for all aspects of fuel supply in their region collaborating with team members throughout the organization to provide the lowest possible fuel cost.

Only one (1) position is available. Open to local candidates in Houston or Grapevine, TX.

• Gain expertise in all aspects of regional fuel supply including logistics, vendors, fuel costs and alternative pricing.
• Responsible for achieving Buying Strength targets in assigned geography.
• yResponsible for carrying out risk management program.
• Responsible for development and execution of daily detailed supply plans.
• Provide timely, accurate, detailed and actionable reporting to logistics staff; work with logistics staff to continuously improve performance.
• Provide analysis in support of strategic initiatives and contract negotiations.
• Cross-train with members of supply team and provide back-up in areas of rack/contract purchase optimization, hedging and bulk supply.
• Maintain excellent relations with logistics team.
• Maintain relations with fuel suppliers, communicating regularly with supplier account representatives in areas pertaining to day-to-day business issues.
• Participate with sales team to identify and pursue growth opportunities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Three (3) or more years' experience in a position that requires timely and accurate data administration, preferably in a pricing commodity trading environment.
• Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external customer service.
• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Software, including advanced reporting techniques.
• Advanced MS Excel analytical tool user (Formulas, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred, relevant work experience will be considered.

• Must be able to occasionally lift as much as ten (10) lbs.
• May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
• May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
