The Accounts Receivable Specialist contributes to the success of Menzies Aviation by meeting key performance metrics through the reduction of delinquency, managing DSO targets, monitoring customer exposure, and maintaining bad debt levels through relationships developed with internal and external customers. Under general supervision maintain appropriate ongoing customer contact, record notes in customer account records, perform account reconciliations, resolve customer complaints, and expedite to the correct department.

Support activities related to accounts in bankruptcy and third‑party collections.

• Proactively contact assigned customers for delinquent receivables and document communication to maintain account history in the system of record.
• Develop successful relationships with customer contacts and sales.
• Apply knowledge of individual customer accounts to efficiently handle account balance inquiries, resolve account problems, billing disputes, and other issues to provide quality customer service.
• Negotiate payment from delinquent customers to maintain receivables within target and ensure compliance with credit terms.
• Continuously monitor delinquent accounts daily/weekly to ensure compliance and protect exposure to booked balances.
• Pay strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be well organized and possess strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Manage ongoing tasks, communicate workload issues to the manager, and ensure work is completed on time and accurately.
• Apply strong problem‑analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Be results‑oriented and exercise good judgment.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal skills, work effectively in a team, and be customer focused.
• Create reports related to A/R status and detail.
• Upload customers with received invoices into the invoice portal, if applicable.
• Understand overall business goals and how A/R supports these goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work well in a team orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Basic understanding of fundamental accounting skills.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and all pre‑employment testing.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to read and interpret management level documents.
