Technicians will benefit from massive parts departments, vehicles that are parked and remain under Inclement Weather Tent Structures, and support from a variety of leaders in our departments. They will also have the opportunity to work on some of the most intriguing brands and vehicles in the world while having the following responsibilities.
- Must be able to drive and operate vehicle
- Examine vehicle, diagnose and, if needed, discuss with the Shop Foreman or ASM the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
- Communicate labor time estimates and additional service requests to the ASM for communication to clients
- Plan work procedure in cooperation with the Shop Foreman
- Monitor repair time and update ASM on status often for client vehicles left for service, and for waiting clients
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
- Complete story, or documentation, for client repairs
- Assist Technician Trainees
- Attend company and factory training
- Keep current with factory technical bulletins
- Know and understand the Avondale Privacy and Information Security Policy, and adhere to its requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum one year dealership experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- Operator's Driver's License
- State Inspection License
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
