Job Title

Assistant Manager
You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards as well as access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

Job Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make rapid and accurate precise movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Delivery driving and couponing in varying weather conditions.
- Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality‑control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements- Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position; surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum; work surface height 36″–48″.
- Walking – short distances and durations; delivery personnel travel between store and vehicle and to customer locations.
- Sitting – paperwork typically completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting – bulk product deliveries unloaded with hand truck; cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 lbs, dimensions 3′ × 1.5′; cases stacked up to 72″ high.
- Carrying – large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb per tray). During delivery carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
- Pushing – move trays on dollies (24″–30″, force up to 7.5 lb); trays may be pulled.
- Climbing – navigate stairs or ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance; navigation of ≥5 flights of stairs may be required during delivery.
- Stooping/Bending – forward bending at waist at pizza assembly station; no knee flexion at station; repeated 30–45 s bursts, continuous during day; also at front counter and stocking.
- Crouching/Squatting – occasionally while stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
- Reaching – continuous up, down, forward; above 72″ to turn off oven controls, change prices, lift/lower objects; down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; forward to obtain toppings, clean surfaces, answer phones.
- Driving – deliver pizzas within a designated area; may make several deliveries per shift.
- Hand Tasks – eye‑hand coordination essential; continuous use of hands; shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel and rolling cutter; pinching in cardboard box assembly; grasp cans, phone, cutter, peel, boxes.
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids – pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD, pizza cutter, peel.
Job Duties

- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
