Data Architecture Engineering Experienced Professional

The Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer having an experience of 3-5 years to join our Data Engineering team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines on an AWS-based cloud platform. You will be responsible for end-to-end data integration, transformation, and monitoring, while ensuring high data quality and availability to support analytics and reporting.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Dev Ops, ingestion, and business intelligence teams, and provide critical support aligned with U.S. business hours.

The candidate should be a mid‑level Data Engineer to support our data pipelines, data models, and reporting needs. This role focuses on hands‑on ETL/ELT development, SQL, and cloud‑based data workflows. You will work closely with senior engineers and reporting teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality data delivery.

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and/or AWS services (e.g., Glue, Lambda, S3).
• Ingest data from various sources into our data lake and data warehouse environments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance existing data workflows and improve performance.
• Monitor daily data pipelines and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Support reporting teams by ensuring data availability for tools like Power BI.
• Contribute to documentation, coding standards, and data quality practices.
• Provide nearshore support to help ensure smooth operations across time zones.

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development.
• Strong SQL skills (joins, window functions, aggregations).
• Experience with Python for scripting and data transformation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS basics (S3, Lambda, Glue, or similar).
• Understanding of data lake and data warehouse concepts.
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience supporting BI/reporting teams.

• Exposure to CI/CD or Dev Ops practices (nice to have, not required).
• Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, or similar cloud warehouses.
• AWS certifications (optional).
• Experience with metadata, cataloging, or data quality tools (optional).
