GP Painting is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team as a Lead Carpenter - Crew Leader. We are a professional painting company that performs high-quality residential and commercial projects, and we need an experienced carpenter to handle miscellaneous repairs that go hand-in-hand with our painting work.

Position OverviewThis role combines hands-on carpentry work with leadership responsibilities. You will perform small to medium-sized carpentry and repair jobs while leading a crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage crew members on job sites
- Perform small to medium carpentry and repair work
- Build small decks
- Repair dry rot and structural damage
- Repair and texture drywall
- Replace doors and windows
- Remove, add, and frame walls
- Coordinate repairs in conjunction with painting projects
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every project
- Strong carpentry skills and experience in residential repairs
- Ability to lead and motivate a crew
- Experience with drywall repair and texturing
- Knowledge of framing and light structural work
- Professional communication skills with customers and team members
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
