NP/PA - Grants Pass Family Medicine
Asante is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Grants Pass, Oregon. The Nurse Practitioner operates as an established medical authority within a collaborative care team alongside physicians. The Physician Assistant works under the supervision of the APP Executive Medical Director and designated Family Medicine Physician.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and recording patient histories
- Performing physical examinations
- Formulating treatment plans
- Managing patient care by facilitating diagnostic procedures, writing medical orders, and coordinating consultations
- Triaging and returning patient calls in conjunction with physicians
Position Requirements
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Licensure: Ability to obtain NP license by the Oregon State Board of Nursing or PA-C certification by NCCPA and licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners. Must be eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs. Must meet qualifications for hospital's professional liability coverage.
