OverviewThe Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatments to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, helping them improve their quality of life and functional independence.
Responsibilities- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document all services accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain adherence to infection control, safety, and ethical practice standards
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
- Active Oregon SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP certification or CFY eligibility
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical problem-solving skills
