Join the Community Development Department as an Assistant Planner!
As a member of the team as an Assistant Planner, you will be responsible for initial customer service contact and processing of construction permits and routine land use decisions, verifying zoning, license and permit requirements, tracking plan submittals, assisting other Planner levels, generating GIS reports, and making presentations.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or a related field is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as described.
Licensing Requirements- Oregon Driver’s License – Class C with an acceptable driving record

- Post-interview: tentative offer, criminal history check, background/reference check, drug screening and final offer of employment.
