Purchase Ledger Supervisor / Senior Accounts Payable
£30,000 – £38,000 | Hybrid | Horncastle, Lincolnshire
We're partnering with a well-established, multi-site UK business that is strengthening its finance function and looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to take ownership of Accounts Payable.
This is a true supervisory role — suited to an experienced Senior AP / Purchase Ledger Supervisor who wants responsibility, influence, and the chance to bring structure and consistency to a busy AP function.
The Opportunity As Purchase Ledger Supervisor
, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the purchase ledger, supervising a small team and acting as the go-to person for all AP matters.
You'll remain hands-on
, while also setting standards, improving processes, and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Supervising and supporting the Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable team
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of ~2,500 invoices per month
• Reviewing and approving payment runs
• Acting as the escalation point for supplier queries
• Providing accurate data for weekly cash flow reporting
• Identifying and implementing process improvements
