Role SummaryThe Contract Manager is responsible for ensuring the service, image and performance of the contract aligns with the customer's expectations. The role also maximises contract profitability, controls costs, invoicing and ensures timely submission of financial data. The Contract Manager ensures service level targets are achieved and exceeded while minimising delivery and collection costs. Additionally, they manage all aspects of the contract service centre ensuring achievement of the contract KPI’s set by both company and customer.
Key Responsibilities- Evident line‑management experience in a production/logistics/mail/parcel services environment at a comparable level of responsibility.
- Experience of managing budgets.
- Ability and track record to seek improvements without prompting.
- Ability to identify problems and design deployable solutions.
- Proven record of successful customer interface and supplier management.
- Ability to manage commercial relationships with customers and suppliers through maintenance of service/product processes to deliver excellent customer service, promote organic growth and reduce customer attrition.
- Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.
