GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a supportive school setting in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about supporting young people with behavioural needs, SEMH, and SEND.

Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Working with students with a range of SEND
, including behavioural challenges

Providing 1:1 and small group support

Assisting with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

Helping to create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs

Have previous experience working with behavioural needs (SEMH & SEND)

Be confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

Be patient, resilient and consistent in their approach

Be available full-time (Monday to Friday)

Have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
