Position SummaryWe are seeking a driven Crane / Hoist Sales Representative to grow our overhead lifting and material handling business. This role focuses on developing customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and delivering compliant, safe, and cost-effective crane and hoist solutions to manufacturing, industrial, and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage accounts for crane, hoist, and lifting equipment solutions
- Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate crane and hoist systems
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical solution packages
- Coordinate with engineering, service, and installation teams
- Prospect new business through site visits, referrals, and networking
- Maintain CRM activity, pipelines, and sales forecasts
- Support projects from initial quote through installation and service turnover
- Represent Illinois Electric Works at customer meetings and industry events
- Competitive base salary plus commission
Compensation for this role is determined based on knowledge, skill, and ability. The compensation for this role is expected to be $70,000-$100,000 per year, plus commission.

Requirements Qualifications- 2+ years of industrial or technical sales experience (crane/hoist or material handling preferred)
- Understanding of overhead cranes, hoists, rigging, or lifting devices is strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret basic drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-up habits
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally or regionally
