Sales Manager

Description

The Sales Manager we are seeking is an entry-level professional, who will be held accountable for the daily operations and supervision of an assigned location. The individual in this position will manage the operations of the store to ensure that company standards and expectations are consistently met. Business functions are executed in a manner that will deliver the desired sales and profit results while providing the highest level of service to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maximize home store profitability by increasing sales, building customer base, controlling expenses, and preventing cash losses
• Support the company’s goals by focusing on personal accountability, customer service excellence, and work efficiency
• Demonstrate standards and model behavior in the areas of sales, collections, customer service, productivity, and efficacy
• Participate in the on-going training, development and motivation of staff
• Lead by example by regularly working in a customer service representative capacity and interacting with the customer
• Create and maintain a clean and safe work environment, and maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Interact with home store’s neighborhood/community through local

• Thorough knowledge of basic math in order to handle and balance cash and financial transactions
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred)
• Must have the ability to use discretion in the controlling of confidential information
• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to present a professional image
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, create a motivating environment, and provide a superior level of service to ensure a positive experience for all customers
