Job Overview
SAP Inventory Coordinator – $29.71 per hour – Full‑time, Administrative – Located at the Granite City Plant. This role supports the Kraft Heinz Manufacturing workforce by ensuring the SAP inventory accurately reflects the physical inventory.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Check e‑mail and voicemail each morning for critical updates and tasks.
- Assist planners, quality, and production with inventory counts.
- Retrieve current schedules and bill of materials to ensure correct inventory recording.
- Collaborate with the Technology Development Center (TDC) to maintain system integrity.
- Inspect the back‑stage area and resolve issues with the plant TDC promptly.
- After run: examine yesterday’s schedules for non‑running SKUs, count used materials, verify warehouse inventory, and record physical counts in SAP.
- End of week: count and adjust commonly used materials during quiet time.
- Transitions: adjust old and new inventory when material transitions occur, including write‑offs and write‑‑ons.
- Month‑end/Year‑end: count and adjust materials for financial reporting.
- Holds: support materials management, operations, and quality to capture hold materials on block status.
- Count and order select indirect materials.
- Perform a weekly physical count of listed materials and reorder via Ariba based on the replenishment plan.
- Participate in team goal setting and implementation to achieve low‑cost, high‑quality production.
- Submit and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain product and workplace quality by following all procedures and guidelines.
- Comply with GMPs, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities, and KHMS operating procedures.
- Assist in KHMS program compliance and train new associates.
- Perform all duties safely and use discretion to prevent injuries to self and others.
- Strong computer skills and advanced working knowledge of SAP and its screens.
- Proven record of effective problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain detailed records accurately.
- Self‑management and teamwork skills expected.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other Kraft‑supported software.
- Work a schedule consistent with business needs and be flexible for overtime, including daytime shifts, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Proficient in mathematics.
- Availability for occasional travel if required.
