A Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides direct support and care to individuals with mental health, behavioral, or substance use disorders. They assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient behavior, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. BHTs work closely with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help patients develop coping skills and achieve their treatment goals. Responsibilities include observing and documenting patient progress, leading therapeutic activities, de‑escalating crisis situations, and providing emotional support.

• High School Graduate or equivalent

• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training within one month of hire

• Prior Behavioral Health experience (preferred)

The pay range for this position is $16.20 – $24.30 per hour. Pay is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and skills and will be discussed during hiring.
