The IT Enablement/Automation Specialist is responsible for modernizing and optimizing the organization’s training delivery model, while ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of training programs. This role combines operational excellence with instructional design expertise to streamline training logistics, develop scalable digital learning solutions, and support onboarding, compliance, and ongoing staff development.

This position plays a key role in reducing reliance on manual, instructor-led training by implementing sustainable digital learning strategies and automated scheduling processes that enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and regulatory readiness across teams.

  • Assess and streamline existing training scheduling and coordination processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated scheduling systems using current technologies.
  • Organize and manage calendars for classroom, virtual, and on-the-job support.
  • Serve as the point of contact for real-time support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Create standardized processes, templates, and documentation for scheduling and communication.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve visibility and efficiency of training operations.
Digital Learning & Content Development
  • Design, build, and maintain web-based training content for onboarding, compliance, systems, and operational education.
  • Transition high-frequency instructor-led training into structured, asynchronous learning formats.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert complex processes into clear, engaging training materials.
  • Develop SOPs, job aids, workflows, and knowledge base content aligned with organizational standards.
  • Support governance, version control, and audit-readiness of training materials.
  • Assist with the development of online training programs and remote learning opportunities.
Onboarding & Program Effectiveness
  • Prepare training materials and facilitate access for new associates and providers.
  • Track training participation and completion for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Monitor program effectiveness, gather feedback, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between educators, providers, and departments to enhance communication and collaboration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR actively enrolled and working toward a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, scheduling coordination, or education roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining web-based learning content.
  • Experience transitioning organizations from instructor-led training to digital learning models.
  • Strong written communication and content organization skills.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
Preferred Experience
  • Healthcare or healthcare-adjacent training experience.
  • HIPAA-compliant training or documentation development.
  • Learning content governance, audits, or version control.
  • Process improvement or operational optimization experience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cerner and LMS administration.
