Tyre Fitter - South Lakes

Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 (DOE)

Hours:

42.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

We are currently working on behalf of a well-established franchised dealership in the South Lakes area, who are looking to recruit an experienced Tyre Fitter to join their busy after sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to secure a stable, long‑term position within a professional automotive environment offering strong benefits and ongoing training.

• Checking and adjusting vehicle tyres and wheels using electronic equipment (including tyre pressure, wheel alignment, balancing, and rotation)
• Carrying out tyre fitting, vehicle diagnostics, and associated repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards to minimise rework and maximise customer satisfaction
• Identifying and reporting any additional vehicle issues not listed on work instructions
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the workshop
• Completing all documentation accurately and in line with company procedures
• Supporting the workshop with additional duties as required

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter (essential due to the nature of the role)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
