Robotics Technician - Grandville Area

Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibration on robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install, configure, and commission new robotic equipment and work cells.
• Modify and optimize existing robot programs for improved efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
• Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and company policies.

• Proficiency in programming, operating, and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong understanding and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI systems.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults in automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic cells and associated machinery.
• Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience/certifications.

• Advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, ROS) for custom robot application development.
• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robot guidance or inspection.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for interpreting mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet) and basic IT troubleshooting.
