Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and implement PLC and HMI applications for automated manufacturing processes.
- Perform commissioning, testing, and validation of new control systems and equipment.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for industrial automation hardware and software.
- Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and throughput.
- Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematics, control documentation, and software backups.
- Ensure all control system designs and modifications comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation projects from concept through completion.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and associated software.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design and development (e.g., Factory Talk View, Wonderware, Ignition).
- Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with industrial electrical control panel design, schematics, and wiring standards.
- Familiarity with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) and motion control applications.
- Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with MES/ERP integration for manufacturing data.
- Experience with SQL databases for data logging and reporting.
