Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Develop innovative product designs and improvements for manufacturing processes.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Conduct design analysis, material selection, and component specification to meet performance and cost targets.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs and design changes.
- Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and maintain accurate design documentation, including BOMs.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly.
- Demonstrated experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for creating detailed engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of material properties and selection for various mechanical and environmental applications.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation tools for design validation.
- Experience with FEA or other simulation software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, machining, or assembly processes.
- Proficiency in Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
