Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and implement PLC/HMI/SCADA systems for manufacturing processes.
- Develop and optimize robotic automation solutions to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system failures, minimizing production downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new automation opportunities.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of existing automation equipment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics and user manuals.
- Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley) and HMI/SCADA system development.
- Experience with industrial robotics integration, programming, and maintenance (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex automated manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 13849).
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
- Proficiency in data historians (e.g., OSI PI) or industrial IoT platforms.
- Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) or advanced robotic path planning.
- Understanding of OT cybersecurity best practices.
