What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students
- Under the supervision of a certified teacher, working with individual and/or small groups of students in a classroom
- Monitoring students in a variety of different settings (e.g., classroom, playground, cafeteria, library, etc.)
- Providing support to the teacher
- Salary: $19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience)

- Working days: 5 days per week
- Hours per day: 6.5 hours

Job‑related experience is desired. - Minimum qualifications:
Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university, or have passed the state para educator assessment).

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard‑free environment.
