Accounts Payable Clerk-Wyckoff Farms

Job Description

Wyckoff Farms Inc. is a vertically integrated Lower Valley agricultural organization seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This position will work closely with departmental and accounting managers to ensure invoices are paid timely and recorded accurately.

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• With assistance from operational and accounting managers, ensure the accuracy of A/P GL and Budget records.
• Vendor Management.
• Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Invoice Matching to Purchase Orders.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
• Processing Check Payments.
• Participate in month-end closing processes.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable/General Accounting experience required.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Prior experience with agriculture and/or food processing operations a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
