Operational Excellence Manager

Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, this position will work in concert with the Plant Manager(s) to execute the Operational Excellence strategy: implement and support a sustainable operating structure, drive cadence of continuous improvement with implementation of tools and business processes, build and leverage data driven tools, implement process improvement methodologies (ex. Kaizen), increase profitability and optimize operating performance to meet customer lead-time demands.

• Experienced leader with a hands‑on approach and mentality to drive action
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing that drive efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks and drive overall operational performance
• Work collaboratively across departments to optimize processes, implement lean principles and drive culture of excellence
• Utilize experience implementing lean manufacturing operating systems to build‑deploy‑optimize site operations
• Deploy and support Operational Excellence best practices, such as daily management, standard work, 5S workplace organization and effective problem solving
• Implement and leverage data collection tools to drive a data driven approach to problem solving, focus/facilitate tools (ex. Kaizen, SMED, VSM, Process Mapping, etc.) and incorporation into daily standard work
• Strong understanding of Total productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars and implementation
• Understands the philosophy of the Toyota production System
• Developed or facilitated Hoshin Kanri and policy deployment
• Leverage experience in high-volume automated manufacturing processes and strong analytical/problem solving skills in daily activities
• Set benchmarking and continuous improvement targets
• Support site harmonization and flexibility to maximize asset utilization, reduce risk and optimize overall performance
• Facilitates Kaizen events within the site and provides guidance on the Kaizen process
• Cross‑functional capability with ability to think/work holistically
• Experience in driving change, implementing new strategies, and adapting to evolving scenarios.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and handle high-pressure situations (Flexibility)

• +5‑years of site/department experience deploying OpEx tools
• +5‑years in high‑speed manufacturing processes (low mix/high volume environment)
• 3+ years in managing people or equivalent
• Lean professional certificates;
  Green Belt or Black Belt certifications
