Senior CNC Swiss Machinist Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

• 5+ years of Swiss lathe programming and setup experience
• Direct experience with Citizen Swiss turning centers and ESPRIT CAM software
• Ability to program both offline and on the machine
• Experience with multi-axis Swiss machines (live tooling, sub-spindle, B-axis preferred)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Knowledge of metal properties (stainless, titanium, aluminum, etc.)
• Experience in troubleshooting machining and tooling issues
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Close attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience supervising or leading machinists (5+ team members)
• ERP experience (Global Shop Solutions a plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Perform complete machine setups from print to production
• Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure safe machine operation
