SUMMARY:

The primary function of the position is to manage material flow to/from the warehouse and on the production floor. Material flow can be managed but not limited to forklifts, narrow aisle forklifts, and AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) movement. Coordinate and respond to AGV activities either manually or through computer systems in relation to production and inventory issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Operate a forklift to deliver/ receive material to/from production.
· Monitoring of AGV activities using the following programs:
Login Control Center, ProTraQ, and additional software systems.
· Corrections to inventory using barcode scanners and the ProTraQ system.
· Job re-issue / cancellations and adjustments using barcode scanners and ProTraQ system.
· Basic troubleshooting, logging and reporting of issues relating to the AGV’s.
· Manual Intervention and operation of the AGV’s.
· Must have forklift certification.
· Load and unload trailers as needed
· Monitor conveyor systems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE GED or equivalent

One to three months related experience and/or training

Successfully complete the entry level skills test, which includes:
Understanding Instructions, Numerical Computation and Visual Checking.

LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and maintenance work orders, communicate effectively and present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.

REASONING ABILITY to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
