Overview

Shop Supervisors plan, schedule, coordinate, and implement methods and procedures for the most efficient and economical repairs of equipment in an error-free manner. They also inspect and measure the performance of maintenance personnel to improve overall Service Center operations.

Responsibilities

• Review daily maintenance schedules and confer with shift personnel
• Maintain superior internal and external customer relations, consistent with company policies
• Assist in training, developing, and evaluating maintenance personnel, in conjunction with the Shop Manager
• Ensure the maintenance facility conforms to prescribed standards of safety and cleanliness
• Assist the Shop Manager in investigating, reporting, and initiating corrective actions for accidents and job-related injuries
• Understand and apply company safety practices, including DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA regulations

Qualifications

• Basic math skills
• Fluent in English
