In this role, you are expected to:
Play a key role inadvisingcustomers of high-level financial solutions from a range of available investment and credit banking solutions
By asking thoughtful financial questions, engage with customers and create positive experiences toretainand deepen relationships
Increase customer financial confidence byprovidingpersonalized financial advice, answering customer questions, and addressing their concerns; raising matters asappropriate toteam members or partners whilemaintainingconfidentiality and accuracy
Act as a point of contact for the frontline staff in handling customer problems
Maintain professional space incommon areasas per marketing and regulatory guidelines
Work closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolioupdatesand suggestadditionalpersonalized solutions based on their financial goals
Stay knowledgeable aboutemergingissues, evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct as well asparticipatein process improvement opportunities to protect the interests of the organization
Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets
Ensure documents are prepared consistent with relevant regulations and in a wayproperly reflectingbusiness intentions
Participate fully as a team member, help build a positive and diverse work environment, willinglyassistand mentor others in the completion of work activities, and address communication issues efficiently
Job Requirements:
High school diplomaand/or1 year of relevantexperience
Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is anasset
Completion ofIFIC or equivalentrequired
CFSA must be completedwithin 12 months, ifhired
Realestatesecuredlending and/orinvestment experience an asset
Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, bankingsolutionsand conceptsin order toprovidepersonalized advice to customers in a fast-paced work environment
Proficiencyin software tools including MS Office, and internet application
Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way
A self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Trainee Mobility
This opportunity includes a mobility clause that requires a candidate to be mobile within the Assigned District. Upon completion of the training program, we intend to assign you to a position which will be compatible with your training. The timing of thispostingwill be determined by your progress in the training program and our ability to avail an appropriate opportunity. This may involve a transfer and geographic relocation to another TD location within your assigned region.
It is our understanding that you are mobile to any location in this region. You are also aware that your geographic mobility is a condition of this employment.
