Quantity Surveyor; Electrical

Our esteemed client in the Electrical Engineering industry is seeking an Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Quantity Surveyor
• Location: North (Direct buses from Woodlands MRT station)
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4,800 + Bonus

• Prepare project cost budgets and track changes in electrical design or site works, adjusting cost projections as needed.
• Source and evaluate quotations from electrical contractors and subcontractors for price comparison and selection.
• Handle claim submissions, follow-ups, and prepare monthly cost and value reports.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, in coordination with consultants, engineers, and clients.
• Perform quantity take-off and cost estimation for tendering of projects.
• Administer project documentation including interim valuations, pricing, and variation claims.
• Measure and verify completed electrical works to evaluate progress and subcontractor claims.
• Review and advise the Project Manager on cost implications for specification or design variations.
• Assist in final account settlement with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and ISO Quality Management standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

• At least Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management, or related discipline).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the electrical engineering or M&E industry.
• Strong knowledge of tender preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Proficient in quantity take-off, variation analysis, and progress claims.
• Familiar with local construction practices, codes, and contractual standards.
