What You’ll Be Doing
  • Drawings & BOQ: Read, study, and accurately interpret architectural and construction drawings to perform precise quantity take-offs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Tendering & Estimation: Prepare and assemble all tender documents. Produce detailed cost estimates and budgets for upcoming construction and tendering projects.
  • Procurement & Negotiation: Analyze tenders and actively negotiate contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Contract & Claim Management: Manage sub-contractor contracts and efficiently evaluate and process their claims. Follow up on all project progress claims, finalize final accounts/claims, and process all Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Record Keeping & Tracking: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and project summaries for all ongoing projects. Continuously update and track the status of all claims.
  • Financial Monitoring: Monitor project costs meticulously and identify potential cost savings throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate progress reports and financial statements for clients and management, ensuring strict compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven QS experience within the construction, interior, or term contract industry. (

    Please note:

    Local experience in Singapore is strictly required).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong ability to read drawings and perform take-offs. Excellent understanding of local construction processes, materials, and advanced cost estimation techniques. Proficiency in standard quantity surveying software and the MS Office suite.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Work Ethic: Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team and meet tight project deadlines.
