Assistant Project Manager / Architecture Coordinator [CIVIL]

Working Days: 5.5days Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 8am-1pm
Job Scope:An Assistant Project Manager collaborates with the Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project. They also ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope to the expected high quality and results.
Accountable for the overall implementation and completion of projects within projected time, cost and quality
Lead and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to determine the specifications of the project, planning and execution of day-to-day operations on site
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, and ensure that the sites comply with all regulations, e.g.: MOM, NEA, HDB, etc.
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Supervise the work of the project team and provide the necessary guidance, or resolve issues and conflicts swiftly
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for the management in a timely manner
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Leading team of site coordinators, safety personnel and supervisors/workman for daily work progresses
Management of site coordinators for all official submissions and relevant discussion for work progress with consultants and authorities
Able to work on all site required documents such as method statements, programmes and other relevant submissions
Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes
Min 5 years experience in construction project management
