We’re currently seeking a full-time Personal Trust Officer or Wealth Advisor to join our team. What You'll Do:

• Provides comprehensive, strategic advice to clients, including; investments, estate planning, taxes, retirement planning or financial planning.
• Will work closely with the SVP, Chief Fiduciary Officer to establish and maintain a business development plan.
• Initiates regular, proactive client communications via telephone, e-mail, in writing, and in person. Exercises independent judgment in resolving client inquiries and responds to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Professional account management consistent with governing documents, applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Works closely with department employees on administrative, operational and investment issues to ensure the quality of the client experience.
• Attend corporate events, social gatherings, and other events necessary to support client retention and cultivate prospective client relationships.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is connected to, passionate about and lives in the Grand Rapids area!

• 10+ years of successful experience in trust administration or wealth management, servicing and managing fiduciary relationships.
• Technically proficient in fiduciary law, tax, investments and administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and/or equivalent experience and/or training.
• Professional designation is required and may include, but is not limited to: CTFA, CFP, JD, CPA and / or Graduate of National Trust School.
• Occasional travel required between office locations for meetings or company training.
