Master Social Worker - Master of Social Work

Overview

This position provides assessment and intervention to help clients and families improve social, economic, and wellness challenges through casework and community resources.

• Conducts interviews, assessments, and on-site visits to determine client needs.
• Collaborates with clients to set goals and explore options.
• Refers clients to community resources and builds relationships with agencies.
• Performs individual and family therapy as needed.
• Maintains accurate medical records, case documentation, and statistics.
• Follows up on planned actions and monitors progress.
• Adheres to policies, participates in quality reviews, and attends professional development.
• Contributes to interdisciplinary teams and provides clinical consultation.
• Ensures compliance with legal and certification requirements.

Master’s in Social Work, Michigan license, and high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience and BLS certification are a plus. Skills required include strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with proficiency in office software. The role involves working independently in a busy environment and maintaining ethical standards.
