Job Overview

Michigan Masonry Corporation is seeking an experienced and driven Masonry Foreman to lead field operations on commercial and industrial masonry projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite activities, managing crew productivity, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise masonry crews on commercial and industrial projects
  • Coordinate daily field operations to maintain production pace and meet project deadlines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings with accuracy
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project standards
  • Assign tasks and hold crew members accountable for performance and workmanship
  • Maintain jobsite safety and enforce company safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and other trades on-site
  • Monitor material usage and coordinate deliveries as needed
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve skill development and efficiency
  • Maintain organized and professional jobsite conditions
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of masonry experience required (commercial/industrial)
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
  • Proven ability to manage production pace and meet deadlines
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional work ethic
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license preferred
