- Diagnose and perform general maintenance and repair of structural and building fabric, electrical (high and low voltage, single phase, and three phase), plumbing (leaks, clogs, faucets, toilets, drains).
- Perform first‑level quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Complete and document work orders and preventive maintenance tasks using the Redzone Reliability Module.
- Advise the Maintenance Manager of identified issues and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with minor construction projects and facility upgrades.
- Conduct audits related to preventative maintenance.
- Monitor and respond to building safety and security concerns.
- Coordinate and oversee on‑site vendors and contractors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and issues.
- Organize storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Manage and order maintenance inventory and supplies.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, OSHA standards, MIOSHA regulations, and local building codes.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 3‑5 years of hands‑on facility maintenance experience required.
- EPA certification, HVAC/R experience preferred.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot high, low, and control voltage systems.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency using an iPad and email systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective time management and task prioritization.
- Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing sanitary design preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA regulations preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies as needed.
