At Brio Living Services, our Painter plays an important role in creating warm, welcoming spaces our residents are proud to call home. This position is ideal for a skilled painter who values a reliable schedule, excellent benefits, and the satisfaction of meaningful, steady work.

The primary purpose of the Painter is to apply paint, varnishes, stains, and wall coverings to interior and exterior surfaces across Brio Living Services communities. Your craftsmanship helps maintain beautiful, safe, and comfortable environments for the seniors we serve—every single day.

• Apply paint, primers, sealers, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Mix, match, and blend paints to achieve desired color and finish.
• Inspect painted surfaces for flaws or runs and make corrections as needed.
• Manage schedules and priorities to ensure work is performed timely.
• Prepare surfaces for painting or wall covering, including filling nail holes and repairing damaged areas and priming.
• Perform duties with the highest concern for working in and around residents’ homes (i.e. noise, cleanliness).
• Perform maintenance and grounds repairs as directed.
• Estimate the amount of paint and number of labor hours to complete project.
• Track hours and materials used and fill out bill form for each project.

• 2 years of experience performing professional painting tasks, required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Apprenticeship and/or formal training in painting.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation.
