Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $27.00/hr.

Utility Locate Technicians are responsible for accurately locating underground facilities including electric power lines, gas lines, and fiber optic lines. The position is a key component to ensuring the area complies with client and state requirements. Service duties include observing, locating, marking, and documenting underground and exposed utility locations. Technicians may work independently or in a team under a supervisor.

• Locate underground facilities using a transmitter and hookup devices.
• Work over various terrains and weather conditions.
• Interpret job order tickets, blueprints, and maps.
• Perform locates and emergency/on‑call locates during regular, overtime, and holiday hours.
• Communicate professionally with customers, co‑employees, and third parties.
• Maintain a damage‑free environment and use technology and tools effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State‑issued driver’s license.
• Ability to problem‑solve and lift over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed prints.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Pass a background screening (no violations within last 5 years).
• Pass a DOT drug test.

• Background check with no violations in last 5 years.
• DOT drug test.

Company will provide vehicle, laptop, and smartphone, and all required personal protective equipment.
