• Must provide excellent customer service when dealing with Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc.
• Observes and reports activities and incidents at assigned client location.
• Guard posts – this may include building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Conduct periodic foot patrols of the assigned locations to check for irregularities, unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors, and enforce policies and procedures for the site location.
• Check for employee and vendor identifications.
• Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
• Maintain regular communication with the designated client contact, follow through with client requests and keep operations manager updated as to client communication.
• Must follow and enforce site specific post guidelines.
• Understand and implement DK’s GIFTS program.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Preferred
  
  Skills:
  
  law enforcement, military, criminal justice field, and customer service.
• Must be at least 21 years old or older.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a current, valid Concealed Pistol License.
• Must be of good moral character, with no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for criminal sexual conduct or related offenses, theft, assault, drugs, or crimes of moral turpitude.
• Must pass a 5-panel drug screen upon hire and periodically thereafter.
• 2 years of experience as a law enforcement officer preferred.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, and no alcohol related infractions in the past 5 years.
• Must present a friendly, positive, professional image to Clients, employees, supervisors, managers, and the general public.
• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and the ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner. This includes the ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and reports.
• Must possess computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Must have impeccable grooming.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Must be physically and mentally sound. Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Part Time: 11PM-7AM Sunday
• Part Time: 7AM-3PM Saturday

• Rate of Pay: $21.63/hr, $24.04 after 90 day review
