Tiello is partnered with a rapidly growing commercial roofing contractor backed by strong operations, financial discipline, and aggressive growth targets. This organization is entering its next phase of scale and is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Roofing Sales to professionalize, optimize, and lead the commercial sales function.
This is not a start-from-scratch sales build. The company already has revenue, sellers, and market traction. The focus is on process, structure, accountability, forecasting accuracy, and operational alignment between sales and execution.
Role Summary
The VP of Commercial Roofing Sales will be responsible for overseeing all commercial sales activity with a strong emphasis on process, systems, pipeline management, and operational efficiency. This leader will partner closely with Operations, Estimating, and Executive Leadership to ensure sales efforts align with capacity, margin targets, and long-term growth objectives.
This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives in building structure, refining workflows, coaching sellers, and driving predictable revenue, rather than being a lone-wolf rainmaker.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all commercial roofing sales operations across service and production
- Implement and enforce standardized sales processes, workflows, and best practices
- Build clear sales KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting models for leadership visibility
- Partner with Operations and Estimating to align backlog, labor capacity, and revenue flow
- Review deal structure, pricing strategy, and margin performance
- Coach and develop sales leadership and individual contributors
- Evaluate current sales team structure and recommend optimization or re-alignment
- Drive accountability around CRM usage, pipeline hygiene, and reporting cadence
- Support geographic expansion, acquisitions, and integration of new sales teams
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on growth initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales or senior sales leadership
- Proven experience leading process-driven sales organizations
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified, Coatings, etc.)
- Demonstrated success aligning sales with operations and estimating
- Experience managing forecasting, CRM systems, and sales analytics
- Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
- Financial acumen with a focus on margins, deal quality, and sustainable growth
- Willingness to relocate or travel as needed
